From runway shows to intimate presentations, we’re highlighting the top fall ’17 men’s shoes at Milan Fashion Week:
Day 3
Silvia Venturini Fendi debuted an energetic and colorful men’s collection today at Milan Fashion Week. The fall ’17 footwear included the Italian label’s signature use of furs, adding them onto the uppers of slide sandals. If that wasn’t kitschy enough, though, she also had the sandals spell out colors such as “Red!” or “Yellow.” It was fun, campy and a little bit humorous — all the things a fun fashion such as Fendi should be.
Day 2
Dsquared2’s Dean and Dan Caten love a bold runway moment, and their fall ’17 co-ed collection was no different. The dynamic duo took on one of the season’s biggest trends, hiker boots, and gave them a fashion spin by covering them in shiny crystals. Though the bottoms of the shoes were all business with lug soles and metal plates, the uppers were ready for a party — just like the exuberant designers themselves.
Day 1
Jimmy Choo debuted a strong fall ’17 collection at Milan Fashion Week. The brand’s creative director Sandra Choi was inspired by London’s clashing style scene, creating dapper footwear silhouettes and infusing them with punk rock details. There was no better example of this than the leopard-printed Jodhpur boot — made even better because the label developed the original print themselves.
