Figuring out what to wear with sneakers isn’t exactly rocket science. They can be worn with virtually anything. However, there are a few ways you can elevate the look this season. The key to spring is looking for kicks with added visual pops — think metallics, floral prints or geometric beading.

Below, see five different ways to dress up the low-top:

Pretty In Pink
A feminine floral print is the perfect way to add some sophistication to your look — why not do it in a sneaker? To balance it out, pair it with a darker outfit (think black or navy). Keep the accessories light in matching pastel hues.

Shine Bright
A metallic sneaker will add instant pop to your look, even to the most casual outfits. We see it worn with denim shorts, a striped shirt and neutral leather bag. Complement the metallic shoe with matching jewelry, though.

Ready To Rock
A studded slip-on is a perfect way to release your inner rock chick. To keep the look from being too costume-like, try wearing it with a sophisticated wrap dress in black and white. Clashing metallic jewelry add attitude.

Refined Boho
A touch of bohemian flair is the perfect look for summer — just don’t go overboard. A beaded sneaker shows your crafty side, but should be paired with sleek denim and a simple top. Keep the jewelry and bags within the same color scheme.

Hit The Beach
If you like going to the beach but not actually swiming at the beach, this look is for you. Velcro sneakers are easy to slip on and off, but should be paired with something more elegant (like a tasteful maxi dress). A straw hat and reflective sunnies polish it off.
