Color-blocking and pop prints injected a contemporary, playful spin into Iceberg’s collection for fall. For his first effort as men’s creative director of the brand, James Lang conceived a young and fun lineup heavy on sportswear and casualwear staples.
A rainbow assortment of neoprene runners had elastic bands instead of laces, which were plastered with the Iceberg logo. The fun was in the soles here, with multicolored stripes — matching the stripes in the clothes — offering some added punch.
Bomber jackets with shearling collars were paired with denim pants printed with a star pattern, while cropped down jackets had knitwear inserts. The brand’s new triangular blue, yellow and red logo appeared on a range of pieces — from sweatshirts to intarsia sweaters.
Lang also sketched an abstract version of Mickey Mouse’s silhouette, which peppered track pants, T-shirts and knits.
