Christian Louboutin Releases Fall ’15 Lookbook Images

Christian Louboutin has released its fall ’15 lookbook imagery, which features the designer’s signature red-soled shoes on the gym court.

From men’s double-monk sneakers to women’s strappy sandals, Louboutin’s designs are seen in unusually athletic setting (tube socks included). Models sport the luxury styles while stretching, lifting weights, and even preparing to jump rope.

Though the fall collection features sporty elements, like elastic straps on stiletto sandals, the inspiration behind it isn’t athleticwear focused. Its main reference point fuses 1960s style with grungy detailing, combining classic silhouettes with punky elements like metal studs and chain embellishment.

The Dolly Party style takes a cue from mod style with fringing, reinterpreted with metal chains instead of suede. On the punk side of the collection, the Electro Pump and Electroboot styles opt for maximum impact with metal cone studding.
