One of the many labels to embrace the buy-now format this season, Burberry debuted its fall “September Collection” runway show at London Fashion Week on Sept. 19. The new assortment included three men’s and three women’s footwear styles that are available for purchase on the label’s e-commerce website now.
Designer Christopher Bailey looked to Virginia Woolf’s novel Orlando for inspiration, taking cues from classic English tailoring. The women’s shoes included three boot styles: leather and snakeskin cutout boots ($1,795), tasseled combat boots ($1,295) and combat boots with golden grommets ($1,295).
As for the men’s collection, the footwear offering was more reserved in neutral shades of brown. It included leather ($775) or suede ($750) Chelsea boots, washed leather derby lace-ups ($695) and suede Chelsea boots with crepe soles ($595).
The label’s show drew a notable front row crowd including guests like Cara Delevingne, Nicholas Hoult. Freida Pinto and Edie Campbell.
