Midland, the country music trio, has become known for its embellished retro cowboy outfits. But the group also knows how to kick back and relax. And as they gear up for their “Last Resort” Bahamas cruise next month, they’ve teamed up with Hari Mari to create their own sandal. Hari Mari is also sponsoring the cruise.

“Admittedly, we’ve been big fans of Midland from early on,” said Lila Stewart, cofounder of Hari Mari. “As a Texas-based company with a penchant for country music, Midland naturally struck a chord with our company. So, when we heard the band was planning a week-long Bahamas cruise with 3,000 of their closest fans, Hari Mari jumped at the chance to get involved.”

The Midland x Hari Mari co-branded leather sandal will retail for $90 for men and $80 for women — and will be sold on the Hari Mari e-commerce site.

The Last Resort cruise on the Norwegian Pearl leaves Miami for Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas on April 1 and will return on April 5. It will feature live performances from the band along with other artists including Orville Peck, Flatland Cavalry, and Madeline Edwards.

Midland, which consists of lead singer Mark Wystrach, lead guitarist and vocalist Jess Carson and bassist and vocalist Cameron Duddy got their start in 2016 and took their first single, “Drinkin’ Problem” to the top of the charts.

Their latest album, “The Last Resort: Greetings From”, was their third studio album and was released in 2022. In addition to their music, Midland also became known for their style — defined by vintage silk shirts, stretch pants from the Seventies, Nudie-style embroidered suits, distressed denim jeans, bolo ties, cowboy hats and gold chains.

This month, Hari Mari closed on a $10 million round of funding led by Landon Smith, a financial services entrepreneur and the founder and former chief executive officer of Riveron, a consulting firm, to grow its business.

Smith and his advisory team will serve an active role in helping Hari Mari management shape and advance the company’s strategic goals in the coming months and years.
