Although Damian Lillard is an Adidas athlete, his signature logo makes an appearance on an upcoming Reebok Shaqnosis shoe.

The global sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff shared launch info on a new Reebok Shaqnosis on its release calendar featuring a countdown for a Sept. 1, 2021 drop date. Unlike a majority of the past releases of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s signature basketball shoe, this forthcoming style features the Portland Trailblazer star’s “D” branding designed with the Three Stripes.

The latest Reebok Shaqnosis makeup features a red-based leather upper that’s combined with black leather overlay panels while white and yellow eyelets appear by the ankle collar. The shoe’s standout detail is “Shaq” branding embroidered on the heel of the left shoe while Lillard’s “D” logo appears on the other. Completing the look is a red and black midsole and a translucent outsole.

The collaborative Reebok Shaqnosis between Lillard and Shaq will be released tomorrow at select retailers including at Sneakersnstuff. The shoe will come with a $150 price tag.

In related Adidas and Reebok news, Adidas announced this month that it has sold Reebok to Authentic Brands Group (ABG) in a cash deal worth €2.1 billion, or about $2.5 billion. The deal is expected to be finalized in Q1 of 2022 with a majority of proceeds to be received by shareholders. Adidas bought Reebok in 2006 when the brand was valued at $3.8 billion. As Reebok’s revenues declined throughout the years, the Three Stripes announced last year it would sell the business.
