New York-based lifestyle brand Brunch has teamed up with The Beverly Hills Hotel to create a retro-inspired slipper collection available as of April 24.
The collaboration is a fitting one for the brand which creates products inspired by hotel slippers. The new collection leans into the luxury and Hollywood glamour associated with the iconic Los Angeles location nicknamed the “Pink Palace,” which famously has a pink exterior and flourishing grounds lined with palm trees — in addition to a great deal of celebrity lore attached to it.
Making use of Brunch’s signature slipper silhouette, the collection includes two colorways known as “Green Envy” and “Pink Palace.” The former option, a deep green hue, is influenced by the flora surrounding the hotel while the latter option, featuring vertical pink stripes, is inspired by the building’s well known exterior. Each slipper is inscribed with “The Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows” in the recognizable font associated with the establishment.
Shot in the brand’s home base of New York City, a studio space was transformed to encapsulate the essence of the Los Angeles hotel. Theolanda Franco stars in the campaign as a rising Hollywood star while Gage Gonzalez takes on the role of a young screenwriter.
The Brunch x Beverly Hills Hotel slippers can be found online at Brunch.us and at Brunch SoHo, the brand’s brick-and-mortar location at 120 Prince St in New York City. The pop-up store had a soft opening on Sept. 22.
Brunch co-founders Joshua and Daniel Sitt told FN via email around the time of the store opening, “For us, the main goal of any store is to bring people together and immerse them in experiences that evoke the ultimate sense of leisure. This pop-up particularly strikes close to the heart — NYC is our hometown, SoHo is where I’ve lived for the last 7 years, so opening a store in this neighborhood means being able to engage with our closest friends, family and brand supporters since we launched Brunch back in 2020.”
Previous Brunch launches have included a fall slipper collection featuring terry and corduroy in addition to a summer drop showcasing the Amour Mesh slipper.
