French shoe company Both has unveiled its latest collaboration with Australian luxury fashion brand Dion Lee. The new spring 2024 collection includes two pairs of unisex workwear-inspired boots, as seen on the Dion Lee runway during New York Fashion Week this February.
They are currently available to purchase on Both and Dion Lee’s websites, as well as Both’s flagship Parisian store. The two cutting-edge brands first collaborated on a shoe collection in fall ’21, and again in fall ’22.
This time around, the boots feature a round toe paired with Both’s signature chunky Gao Platform, made from 30 percent vulcanized rubber and 70 percent vulcanized natural rubber. Both was founded in Paris on the idea of exploring the endless possibilities of rubber to craft innovative, artistic and durable footwear.
The Three Layers Knee Boot is made of sleek black leather with a playful design: it looks like two taller boots have been fit inside a calf-length boot. The wide opening hits at the knee with pull tabs at the front and back. They retail for $850.
The Nylon Knee boot looks like a modern-day explorer’s footwear. It hits at the knee with a tie to secure it and features a zipper that goes all the way from the top to the toes. Eye-catching metal eyelets and laces that coordinate with the tie complete the boot. They retail for $590.
