Urban Outfitters’ BDG Teams With Cat on Capsule Collection Inspired by Workwear

Urban Outfitters‘ BDG and Cat have teamed up to create a seven-piece workwear capsule collection inspired by “authenticity, ingenuity and craftsmanship,” according to a statement.
Blending prep and utility sensibilities, the collaborative capsule features transitional summer-to-fall menswear pieces in modern styles, utilizing Cat’s iconic logo and poppy construction graphics. The marriage between both brands’ aesthetics only seemed right given their shared mantra of quality and affinity for workwear.
Standout pieces in the capsule include their Oxford Contrast Denim Bomber featuring front-facing zipper closures and contrasting backflap pocket detailing. The bomber acts as a layering piece, making it a versatile addition to any closet. The Contrast Double Knee Pant riffs on the classic workwear pant and includes reinforced double knee paneling and a straight leg.

Their Double Front Utility Jean in a mid-rise style consists of hammer loop accents on each side and roomy contrasting pockets. Beyond these items, the collection includes crew-neck and long-sleeve tees along with a comfy cozy fleece zip-up sweatshirt in a neutral beige colorway.
BDG is Urban Outfitters‘ exclusive line of denim and elevated basics. First introduced in 1987, the collection now features a range of closet staples mixed in with more exciting pieces including everything from high-waisted jeans, ripped jeans and workwear-inspired cargo jeans to oversized denim jackets.
Formed in 1925, Cat is a construction, mining and engineering equipment manufacturer that exemplifies the spirit of hard work and longevity. Since it was founded the company has manufactured tractors, trucks, loaders, excavators, graders, scrapers, and other heavy machines used in a whole slew of industries including agriculture, logging and industrial warehousing.
