Zoe Saldana Wears Glossy Chloé Boots for Met Gala 2024 Red Carpet
Zoe Saldana hit the star-studded red carpet at the 2024 Met Gala in slouchy Chloé thigh-high boots in an earthy brown hue. The actress was dressed in head-to-toe Chloé for the biggest night in fashion.
Styled by Petra Flannery, Saldana posed alongside Chloé creative director Chemena Kamali and other celebrities wearing the brand for the evening, including Sienna Miller, Greta Gerwig and Emma Mackey.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress donned a pair of glossy brown leather boots that hit just above the knee with a gown from Chloé’s fall 2024 collection. The chocolate brown over-the-knee style, which peaked out from underneath her sheer look, featured a slightly slouchy shaft, a pointed almond-shaped toe and a mid-sized heel. The subtly chunky heel appeared to measure approximately 3 to 4 inches. “Sex Education” star Emma Mackey, whom Saldana linked hands with on the red carpet, wore a similar pair of boots in burgundy leather.
A Brief History of Chloé
Chloé was founded by Egyptian-French designer Gaby Aghion in Paris in 1952. Aghion named the brand after a friend she felt encapsulated the concept of understated glamour. Noteworthy designers that have helmed the brand over the years include Karl Lagerfeld, Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney and Clare Waight Keller. With Lagerfeld as creative director, the Maison reached a new level of popularity in the ’70s, acquiring a clientele that included Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot. Chloé is best known for its whimsical and bohemian aesthetic.

The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” celebrates the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit. The 2024 event is notably co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
