Zendaya was a sight to behold at the 2024 Gotham Awards, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City the night of Dec. 2. Receiving the Spotlight Tribute for her role in Luca Guadagningo’s “Challengers” last night, the actress wore a custom white dress from Louis Vuitton, which she matched to a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals.
With a clean and elegant design, Zendaya’s bespoke dress featured a high-cut halter neck and low-cut hemline on the opposite side, which left her back exposed save for a single vertical strap attaching to the skirt. Nicholas Guesquière designed the dress, which was made of double satin that hugged Zendaya’s figure and flowed into a skirt that trailed the floor. She wore her hair slicked back into a high ponytail and accented her look with jewelry from Bulgari.

Though her shoes weren’t always visible due to her gown, Zendaya opted for a pair of striking Jimmy Choo platforms, a reasonable choice given the length of her dress. She specifically wore the brand’s Max style, which keeps things classic with a strap across the toes that curves inward on both sides.
The shoe features a rounded toe made more prominent by the platform, in addition to an enclosed back and an adjustable buckled ankle strap. Zendaya appeared to be wearing a shiny white version of the Max style in a satin-like material which matched her dress.
While the style doesn’t seem to be currently available from Jimmy Choo, it can be found in various colors and textures from secondhand sites, like this glittering silver version pictured below, currently on sale at Farfetch for $698.
This is not the first occasion on which Zendaya has worn the Max platform — she opted for a metallic gold version back in February to attend the New York City premiere of “Dune: Part Two.” Beyond Jimmy Choo, she is of course strongly associated with Christian Louboutin heels. A champion of the 120 mm So Kate, she can often be seen wearing the soaring pointed pump from the French brand, whether on a press tour for a movie or while out supporting an endeavor of her boyfriend Tom Holland.
