Zaya Wade was chicly outfitted for a shopping trip in Paris.
During Paris Fashion Week, the 16-year-old stepped out in the City of Lights to hit the shops — all while accompanied by her, stepmom Gabrielle Union and father Dwyane Wade’s stylist, Thomas Christos Kikis. For the occasion, as captured on Instagram, Wade slipped on a set of deep blue ballet flats during the occasion. Her glossy patent leather style featured narrow toes with flat soles, topped by thin upper straps for a preppy, Mary Jane effect.
Wade’s flats brought a chic finish to the outfit she tried on while shopping with Kikis: a structured black skirt by Comme des Garcons, paired with a bright orange long-sleeved top. The style was particularly on-trend, as it combined both the current ballet flat and Mary Jane trends with its minimalist silhouette. Recent months have seen both shoes soaring in popularity from their vintage origins and practical shape, released in a wide array of colors, textures and embellishments from brands including Alaïa, Sam Edelman and The Row.

However, this wasn’t the only look Wade wore with her trendy footwear. Earlier in the day, Kikis shared a humorous mirror selfie with Wade on Instagram Stories, where she donned the same flats with a pair of wide-legged blue jeans and a denim blazer.
Wade, a new star on the fashion scene, often coordinates her looks on red carpet and videos with stepmom Gabrielle Union. The pair have proven their adaptability to complement each other’s looks, whether they’re swapping Prada outfits on TikTok or sitting front-row at Gucci’s Love Parade show. For footwear, Wade often wears block-heeled sandals, pumps and flats from the likes of Burberry, Tory Burch and Gucci. On more casual occasions, she’s also been seen in colorful and embroidered boots from brands including Ganni.
