Zahara Marley Jolie celebrated her mother Angelina Jolie‘s latest starring role at the New York Film Festival on Sept. 29, attending the premiere of “Maria” in a silky ivory gown and strappy black sandals.
The 19-year-old, who is currently a student at Spelman College, looked chic in a cream colored halter dress with a narrow V-neck. Made of a satin or silk material, the dress easily reflected light and fit into the glamorous aesthetic film festivals are known for.
Her outfit complemented her mother’s ensemble, which consisted of a white vintage Madame Grès gown and red velvet Aquazzura sandals. Zahara’s brothers, Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt and Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, also looked polished in black and gray suits, respectively.

Rounding out her look, the younger Jolie appeared to be wearing a pair of black strappy sandals from Tom Ford. The brand’s Patent Leather Heeled Sandals 100, retailing for $1,469 from Harrod’s, featured four narrow straps intersecting across the toes to form an X-adjacent shape with V-shaped outlines.
Two more straps criss-crossed in an X higher up the foot while a buckled ankle strap topped off the look. The shoe was enclosed in the back and elevated by a gold stiletto heel, which added a shiny splash of color to Jolie’s ensemble.
When she’s curating a more casual look, Zahara Marley Jolie is a fan of Converse’s Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, having worn both navy and black pairs in the past.
Meanwhile, the actress, looked regal in an archival Madame Grès gown. The dress featured a flowing, semi-sheer midi skirt and a finely ribbed fitted bodice.
Jolie stars in “Maria” as opera singer Maria Callas. The biographical psychological drama film about the opera singer is directed by Pablo Larraín and is already being considered to be an Oscar contender.
