Victoria Justice Pairs René Caovilla Cleo Sandal With Beaded Rachel Gilbert Gown for the 2025 GLAAD Awards

Victoria Justice was decked out in florals and satin for the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.
The event was held at The Beverly Hilton on March 27 in Los Angeles, California, and the former Nickelodeon star stepped on the red carpet wearing one of René Caovilla‘s most popular shoe designs.
For her ensemble, she went with Rachel Gilbert’s hand embellished Francesca gown in pink. The dress gave Justice a glamorous silhouette thanks to the designer’s signature beading, which gave the ensemble a figure-flattering shape completed with dainty straps. The dress was ankle length, and it featured a slit in the back of the dress that provided an optimal view of her shoes.

Justice wore the footwear designer’s popular Cleo sandal in a soft pink shade. Featuring a satin upper that is lined in leather, the styles feature two straps across the foot. In addition, they have one last strap that starts from the sole and winds up and around the ankle. The shoe is not currently available on the designer’s website, but are available on other luxury retailers for around $1,280.
The shoe also features a svelte stiletto heel, measuring about 105mm. Like all Caovilla’s designs, the Cleo also includes a glittery sole, which the company calls it their signature stardust sole. They’ve been utilizing it since 2008 on all of their shoes.
This silhouette is one of Rene Caovilla‘s signature styles, which is instantly recognizable. The Cleo style was designed in 1968 and inspired by a Roman bracelet. This shoe and its snake-like strap around the ankle evolves season after season while staying true to the original design. Since the, the designer has added the Cleo crystal embellished wrap sandals, pointed Cleo heels and flats. 2023 marked 50 years of the shoe.
The awards show was hosted by Michael Urie and awarded media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues. Honorees included shows like “Hacks,” “Agatha All Along,” “Baby Reindeer,” “Will & Harper,” “The View,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and stars like Cynthia Erivo and Doechii.
