It’s that time of year again: Coachella Music Festival. The major music event in the desert, which stretches across tow weekends is back with a star studded lineup of performers. In the mix, on the first Friday of this year’s festival was Tyla and Becky G who performed onstage together.
As a part of Tyla’s set, Becky G joined the talent onstage to perform “On My Body.” They were both dressed for the California heat and inline with the South African singer’s typical style: midriff-baring looks. For Tyla, this meant an archival Dolce & Gabbana brand and fringe belt paired with ripped mesh tights and a crop top. Becky G also went ripped with a white and yellow bralette top and shorts.
For shoes, Tyla wore a pair of boots from Burju, a brand known for making heeled boots that work well for dancers. Tyla chose the Leona, an open-toe ankle boot. Made of mesh panels, the style includes a leopard print. It also encompasses a black leather trim. The boot laces up the front.
The Leona is made available in multiple heights from 3.5 inches up to 4.2 inches. Burju sells the Leona ankle boot for $179.
This isn’t Tyla’s first time performing in Burju. When she hit the stage at the MTV European Music Awards in November, she wore the company’s Stay Strapped sandal. That was also an open-toe style. The next month, she was on Instagram wearing the company’s Tiyana heel. That open-toe style features yellow geometric strap details.
Becky G appeared to take Tyla’s lead. She wore a pair of knee-high faux fur boots from the brand 1XBlue. The boots also included Dalmatian spots. The style is heeled with a wedge installed inside that is 3.5 inches. The boot is available for $154.
Fur boots are a longrunning trend at Coachella, both onstage and off. Last year, Ice Spice picked two pairs of Mongolian sheepskin boots. She wore them in pink one weekend and black another. Doja Cat put on a headline grabbing performance and also chose some furry boots to complete her look. The entire look was made of shearling fur and was essentially a bikini.
