Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are keeping their winning streak alive.
With Taylor Swift in attendance rooting him on, the tight end helped the Chiefs earn their first W of the 2024-25 NFL season on Sept. 5 wearing a pair of Air Jordan 11 cleats.
In a nail-biting finish that necessitated a play review, the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens, 27-20. Kelce contributed with three receptions and 34 receiving yards. In a nod to his team colors, he arrived to the game yesterday wearing white Air Jordan 1 sneakers with red accents, before switching into his uniform and cleats.
The Air Jordan 11 cleats feature a white leather upper accented by a glossy black patent leather mudguard. The shoes feature Nike Zoom Air cushioning in addition to molded studs on the outsole plate. A version of the shoe featuring a gold Jumpman logo retails for $200 from Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Jordan cleats are a popular choice amongst NFL players. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, for example, wore green Air Jordan 4 cleats during a game last year. Back in 2020, Nike revealed that sponsored athletes would create their own player-edition Air Jordan cleats.
Off the football field, Kelce rocks a range of different shoes. A noted fan of sneakers, he often steps out in Jordans, including coveted Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows. He opted for white Converse at Coachella with Taylor Swift this year and looked debonair on stage with her in London in a suit and Louboutin dress shoes. A devotee of the Air Jordan line, he also recently competed in a golf tournament wearing Air Jordan 12 Low Taxi golf cleats this past summer.
