Travis Kelce’s latest look seemed to nod at Taylor Swift’s discography.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end helped his team cinch the 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night before being seen with Swift following the game. For his post-game look, Kelce slipped into a pair of white Converse sneakers. His classic canvas shoes have over a century of relevance; they’ve been spotted on all-star athletes throughout the 20th century, and more recently, on A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston and Rihanna.
The two-time Super Bowl champion paired his sneakers with a matching set from KidSuper Studios. The denim jacket and the matching jeans were both made of white denim with light blue paint splatter print added. Kelce paired the set with a basic white tee and accessorized with large silver chain necklaces as he was seen post-game with Swift.
The “1989 Bedroom Painting Set” from KidSuper Studios sparked theories within the Swiftie fandom that Kelce’s outfit was nodding to Swift’s fifth studio album, and the upcoming re-release. Swift announced last month during the “Eras Tour” that her 2014 album “1989” would be the next “Taylor’s Version” re-recording, which is slated to drop Oct. 27.
Meanwhile, Swift attended the game wearing a red and white color-blocked Chiefs technical jacket with a white tank top and black denim shorts. She rounded out her game day look with a pair of red and black New Balance 550 sneakers.
