Tracee Ellis Ross is back with another look. Ross, one of Hollywood’s resident fashion girls, headed to the Vanity Fair Oscars after party on Sunday night. While there, she couldn’t help but to turn a look.
The actor wore a brown fringe Alexandre Vauthier spring 2025 fringe dress. It featured a deep-cut neckline. In addition, the fringe was shorn to come to a point at her feet. Ross twisted and twirled on the red carpet to show the movement of the design. She was styled by Karla Welch.
Like Storm Reid, who was styled by Jason Bolden in another Alexandre Vauthier dress for the actual Oscars ceremony, Ross wore a pair of black slingback shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti. The heels were the company’s Lilibeth silhouette. The shoe sits on a stiletto heel of four inches. It is also open-toe. Completely black, the sole has an almond shaped toe.
The slingback strap on the back features an elasticated section. This was reportedly introduced by Coco Chanel and Massaro when they created the classic Chanel slingback with its two-tone design. Rossi sells the Lilibeth for $850.
Ross and Reid certainly were not the only ones with their toes out on Sunday night. Best Actress nominee, Demi Moore wore a pair of Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels. That shoe included a shimmering, glitter-covered upper. Selena Gomez also wore a towering Stuart Weitzman peep-toe style called the Discoplatform Nudistcurve.
The Oscars 2025, officially known as the 97th Academy Awards, are set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. The ceremony will honor movies released in 2024. Conan O’Brien will host the event that will celebrate films like “Wicked,” “The Substance,” “The Brutalist, “A Complete Unknown,” “Emilia Perez” and more. Notable nominees for acting categories include Zoe Saldaña, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore, Colman Domingo and more.
