Tori Kelly is making her way back to the “American Idol” stage this Sunday, during the Hawaii episode, wearing some pretty stylish footwear, including metallic boots and color-blocked sneakers.
Kelly wore shimmering Steve Madden Fink boots for the show’s Hawaii episode. The shoe showcased a pointed-toe stiletto boot finished with heavy studded webbing straps wrapped around the front and calf. Set atop a 4-inch heel height the pair also features a vegan leather upper material with hardware, a textile and vegan leather lining, a vegan leather sock and a synthetic sole.
During the episode, Kelly was also seen wearing a pair of Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Fearless” sneakers, which were created in collaboration with the Paris-based fashion brand Maison Chateau Rouge and launched in November 2019.
This special edition sneaker pays homage to the iconic basketball shoe from 1985. Designers Youssouf and Mamadou Fofana, co-founders of Maison Chateau Rouge, adorned the classic Air Jordan with colors and patterns inspired by their African heritage. The original Air Jordan is reimagined with debossed patterns and contrasting stitching as part of the “Fearless Ones” collection, reflecting global influences.
Just last week, the singer was promoting new music in white sock boots with a bedazzled platform. And mid-March she was practicing her vocals with her band in some cozy sneakers. For the Vanity Fair Oscar party on March 7, she strapped on chunky platform heels to bring her look to completion.
“American Idol” returns on Sunday, April 7, for its 22nd season overall. Twelve contestants will take the stage for America’s first vote of the season. Mentor Kelly will perform and join the judges on the panel.
