Tia Mowry Rounds Out Elegant All-Black Ensemble With Patent Leather Valentino Pumps for ‘Today’ Show Appearance

Tia Mowry appeared on the “Today” show on Oct. 2 in a monochrome black ensemble rounded out with a pair of sharp Valentino pumps.
Discussing her new reality series “Tia Mowry: My Next Act,” which explores her life after her divorce, Mowry wore an elegant black dress consisting of a simple ribbed sweater and a silky, voluminous skirt with dramatic ruching.

She accented the all-black outfit with plenty of gold jewelry, including layered necklaces and an elegant watch, among other pieces. The “Sister Sister” star wore her hair slicked back and braided, allowing her soft makeup look to be seen.
Committing to the monochrome aesthetic, Mowry set off the ensemble with a pair of black patent leather Valentino Garavani pumps. With a sleek shine and sharp silhouette, the shoes aligned with her dress and contributed to the sumptuous aura of her outfit.
The pumps featured a pointed toe and an enclosed back with a slender strap encircling the ankle, which stood out with the Valentino ‘V’ logo on the buckle with a gold finish. The stiletto heel, meanwhile, measured a substantial four inches. The shoes are marked at a price point of $1,050.
Mowry is a confessed “shoe-aholic,” and recently revealed some of her favorite shoes on her YouTube channel. This aforementioned pump is not the only pair of Valentinos in her closet — she also owns a black patent leather platform pump from the company, which lifts the style with a tall base and towering block heel. Some of her other favorites hail from Bottega Veneta, Jessica Rich and Versace.
When out and about, Mowry’s footwear varies — she slipped on crystal-adorned heeled sandals from Amina Muaddi to attend the premiere of “Wonka” last December. Earlier that month, she also showed off a pair of studded Saint Laurent heeled ankle boots on her social media when she jokingly said she was “taking the biggest step back” as she faced too many “Sister, Sister” references.
