Taylor Swift was photographed having a solo night out on Friday in New York. The same day, Swift released a re-recorded Taylor’s version of her fan-favorite “1989” album.
For her solo romp in the Big Apple, the “Cruel Summer” songstress sported a pair of cherry red leather boots featuring rounded toes, a chunky composition, zip-up closures on the sides and a glossy patent leather finish.
The musician’s set was ankle-length, acting to streamline her silhouette, accompanied by thick and sturdy platform soles that offered the star a boost. The aforementioned soles were likely equipped with non-slip tread and three to four-inch thick block heels rounded out the shoe details.
Like Swift’s application, boots of all kinds are rugged and utilitarian, providing the wearer with a simplistic but sophisticated appearance that is widely versatile. Swift often gravitates toward knee-length and ankle-length styles mainly in neutral tones. Beyond black, ankle boots can be found in a wide range of colors and prints from both high and low-end brands including Dr. Martens, Ganni, Chloe, Timberland and Hunter.

Embracing the fall vibes, Swift sported a tan leather jacket featuring a tailored composition layered overtop a black tank top. The top was tucked into a high-waisted brown textural skirt that seemed to be of the corduroy variety. The performer accessorized her ensemble with various pieces of gold jewelry accompanied by her signature vampy red lip.
When it comes to her footwear style, Swift’s red carpets and onstage performances often include pumps, sandals and tall boots from brands like Christian Louboutin, Chloe Gosselin, Sophia Webster, Aquazzura and more.
While off-duty, the singer-songwriter goes for Birkenstock sandals, ankle boots from Christy Dawn and Ugg, as well as Nike and Golden Goose sneakers. Recently, the musician has been reaching for knee-high leather boots from brands like Reformation and Louboutin. She has also been seen out in towering boots and heels while with Kelce over the past few weeks.
