Tate McRae sat down for an interview followed by a performance on “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday.
During the show, McRae spoke about the devastating moment she found out her album “So Close To What” was leaked and how a Pilates class with Glen Powell led her to get a voice memo from Sydney Sweeney on “Miss Possessive.” Later on in the show, the musician performed her song “Revolving Door.”
Cute and casual for the stage, the “Greedy” songstress sported a pair of black knee-high boots. The chosen silhouette featured slouchy black leather uppers accompanied by sharp pointed toes and leather soles. 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels rounded out the set, offering McRae a commanding boost in height. The simplistic silhouette can be likened to styles from top brands like Michael Kors, The Attico, Asos, Amina Muaddi, Schutz, Loewe, Coperni and Khatie, among others.
Going for a monochrome moment, the “You” singer donned a form-fitted all-black ensemble. The performer’s ensemble consisted of a cropped long-sleeve accompanied by black micro shorts. Silver hardware was fixed to her top and bottoms. The neckline of her longsleeve featured an asymetric cut-out that offered the otherwise basic piece dimension. The stage look was minimal, allowing audiences to focus on the music and dance.
McRae began to gain popularity back in 2016 when she became a finalist on the reality show “So You Think You Can Dance.” Since then, her star has risen thanks to her musical talents. The musician’s footwear style is a mix of flirty and sporty silhouettes.
You’ll likely find the “Greedy” songstress in ballet flats, combat boots and printed pumps from brands like Burberry, Prada, Azalea Wang, YSL, Stella McCartney and Reformation, among others. On casual occasions, McRae can be spotted in sporty and colorful sneakers hailing from Nike, Salomon, Balenciaga and Adidas.
