‘Euphoria’ Alum Storm Reid Serves Playful Glamour In Minidress and Slinky Red Jimmy Choos at the Fashion Trust U.S. Cocktail Party
While strappy sandals are typically considered a summer footwear staple for many celebrities, that didn’t stop Storm Reid from reaching for Jimmy Choo’s popular Minny style for the Fashion Trust U.S. cocktail party in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The “Euphoria” actress paired the celebrity-favorite designer sandals set on skinny stiletto heels with a colorful halter dress for the occasion. The playful look was designed with shimmery red feathers throughout and a crinkly purple fabric that also sparkled in the camera’s light at night. Skimming the thighs, hanging from the skirt’s hem were bits of frayed black material infused with flecks of metallic silver.
The “Missing” star wore a red satin iteration of Jimmy Choo‘s best-selling silhouette designed with slinky straps that wrap around the toe and ankle. They effortlessly showed off her French pedicure. The chic sandals are complete with a supportive heel counter and a barely-there gold buckle that allows for easy adjustments.

Rita Ora wore the same lustrous red sandals for several appearances last July, including at the Los Angeles premiere of “Descendants: The Rise Of Red” and on “The Tonight Show” in New York City. Just about every celebrity has been seen in the Minny at some point, from Anya Taylor-Joy to Margot Robbie to Kerry Washington and Aubrey Plaza.
The Fashion Trust U.S. cocktail party celebrated the finalists for the nonprofit’s annual awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on April 8. Reid, as well as Zooey Deschanel, Paris Hilton, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph were among the notable attendees at last year’s awards. Now in its third year, the event will be sponsored by Google Shopping.
Reid, who accepted the Style Influencer of the Year award at the 37th annual FN Achievement Awards in 2023, often works with renowned stylist Jason Bolden. The “Last of Us” actress accessorized her glamorous look for the evening with a smattering of flashy jewelry dripping with diamonds. She sported hoop earrings, two layered necklaces, three bracelets, and two stacked rings.
Reid signed on as a New Balance ambassador in October 2021 and has since starred in multiple campaigns for the athletic brand. “I just love shoes, especially sneakers. Before I became a New Balance partner, I had about 60 pairs of shoes,” she told FN in 2023. “But now that I’m with the brand, I have added over 100 pairs of New Balances. Overall, I’d say I have about 170 pairs of shoes, give or take.”
