Sofia Richie Grainge modeled the quiet luxury aesthetic on Tuesday to volunteer with Baby2Baby in Los Angeles, picking out finely tailored casual pieces including a pair of wool Chanel sneakers for the event. The model gathered with Ayesha Curry and Victoria Monét to announce the expansion of Baby2Baby’s initiative to mitigate the maternal health crisis, in partnership with Huggies.
Offering one of her masterclasses in minimalism, Grainge went with easy wardrobe staples for the charitable occasion. She exuded a cool girl-next-door aura with a clean white T-shirt tucked into straight-leg blue jeans. With a blank canvas of an outfit like this one, accessories take on a larger role, and Richie’s layered necklaces certainly stood out against her bright shirt. The pieces included dainty gold chains, one of which had an “E” pendant and the other had an “Eloise” nameplate, which is the name of her daughter she shares with her husband, record executive Elliot Grainge.
Maintaining her neutral color scheme, Grainge laced up a pair of Chanel sneakers to accent her timeless casual look. She wore a beige pair of the French luxury brand’s wool mixed fiber sneakers. The shoes are a low-top style with the iconic interlocking C’s logo on the side, which is also subtly displayed on a loop at the laces. The fuzzy matte fabric of the shoes brings the style a sense of laidback luxury.
Curry, meanwhile, dressed up for the event in barrel leg jeans, a simple white top, a yellow leather jacket and a pair of distressed brown cowboy boots.
