Thursday night, the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square in New York City was transformed into a buzzy A-list event filled with glittering dresses with cutouts aplenty and towering heels for the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch Party. The 60th anniversary edition of the coveted swimsuit issue features a beautifully diverse cast of models, with Gayle King, Kate Upton, Chrissy Teigen and Hunter McGrady selected as the cover stars.
The anniversary Swimsuit Issue features 52 trailblazing women, each of whom “Serves as an inspiration in her own unique way, championing beliefs that SI Swimsuit has long upheld: the importance of representation and the polysemous nature of beauty.” The magazine hits shelves today.
Cover stars King, Teigen, McGrady and Upton attended the glitzy launch party, along with fellow SI 2024 models Martha Stewart, Leyna Bloom, Tyra Banks, Olivia Dunne, Chanel Iman, Brittany Mahomes and many others.
