Shakira arrived at her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” album release party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Thursday in Hollywood, Fla., in a pair of Amina Muaddi Yigit zip platform stiletto booties.
A fan of heels that feature some height, Shakira has worn several pairs of platform shoes while promoting her new album. Recently, the star was seen in a pair of silver Giuseppe Zanotti pumps on the “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” album cover. Elevated at a total of 6 inches, the heels featured a glossy metallic finish.
Released on Friday, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” is Shakira’s most anticipated album after a seven-year hiatus. The Latin record includes features with Cardi B, Karol G and Ozuna.
The Amina Muaddi Yigit booties are designed with a sculptural pointed-toe silhouette and crafted in soft black leather. The shoes are finished with 6-inch stiletto heels and a pointy platform base. Additionally, the skin-tight boots are mid-calf length, hitting the star just above her ankles.
From Sabrina Carpenter to Zendaya, the short and trendy heeled boot has been seen on a number of celebrities as they walk the red carpet, attend fashionable events, and walk the streets of a big city. The chic silhouette has the ability to transcend several different style aesthetics, working in harmony with a variety of classic silhouettes and colorways. For example, adding a striking pop of color to her look, Emily Ratajkowski was recently spotted in a pair of cherry red snakeskin heeled booties in December of last year. The calf-length shoes were finished with a square toe and leather uppers.
