Selma Blair brought an air of elegance to Elle’s 2024 Women in Hollywood Celebration, held in Los Angeles on Nov. 19, in a white dress and D’Orsay slingback pumps from Alena Ettea.
Blair dressed up in a fitted white dress featured a criss-cross neckline leading into off-the-shoulder sleeves. The dress gathered at the waist and fell into a pencil skirt which hit the ankles. She carried a black clutch and sparkled with an array of fine jewelry while a neutral manicure and subtle rosy makeup also contributed to her look.
Blair wore a pair of chic shoes amalgamating a few trends. With a D’orsay silhouette — which refers to an upper that is significantly lowered or missing along the side — and a slingback strap, the heels left a great deal of the foot exposed. Moreover, the upper leaned into the sheer shoe trend with a lower mesh portion with a diamond-shaped lattice design while the toe was an opaque shiny black, creating a classic cap toe design.

The mesh section featured a dazzling adornment made up of intricately arranged crystals and a sizable pearl. Hailing from designer Alena Ettea, the Swan Black shoes are marked at a price of 1,040 euros. Blair embraced the slingback style this year — she wore black slingback sandals to the U.S. Open and black slingback pumps to a Jean Paul Gaultier show in June.
The 2024 Women in Hollywood honorees included Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton, Danielle Deadwyler, Saoirse Ronan, Cynthia Erivo, Demi Moore, Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón and Mikey Madison.
