Selena Gomez was one of few double nominees at the 82nd annual Golden Globes. The actress celebrated such an enormous feat in style, wearing a custom satin gown by Prada with matching pumps that although they were barely visible, they were to die for.
The look gave off a feel of old Hollywood glam and understated elegance that has now become synonymous with the “Emilia Perez” star. Gomez wore a gorgeous off the shoulder column dress, which perfectly showed off her Tiffany and Co. jewelry and accentuated the shooting star diamond necklace that sat comfortably around her neck.
While her jewelry was on full display, the hem of her dress was just long enough that it covered her shoes. However, the pump she wore was so sharply pointed that it peeked through the bottom of the skirt, revealing the Prada “Raso” modern silk pumps in the color baby blue.
While the shoe is currently available in a fiery red and deep brown, and retail for $1,170, Gomez’s hue seems to be custom-made to match precisely with her Golden Globes look. The star walked the red carpet but didn’t stop to pose for photos, but her shoes finally made an appearance when she was inside the press room and took the stage alongside her fellow castmates.
While inside, she was joined by her newly-announced fiancé Benny Blanco. Going along with the Cinderella motif, the music producer arrived to the event in an all-white suit, giving his best interpretation of a modern Prince Charming.
Blanco was by Gomez’s side when she lost out in the two categories she was nominated in but her film “Emiliar Perez,” her costar Zoe Saldana and director Jacques Audiard went home with Globes, giving the couple plenty to celebrate.
