Selena Gomez Turns Heads in Black Suede Studio Pumps at Time 100 Event

Selena Gomez turned heads on Wednesday at a Time 100 event in New York City in a sleek pair of black suede mules from Black Suede Studio.
The “Only Murders in the Building” starlet was spotted both outside of the event while grabbing lunch and during the actual event cutting a bold all-black ensemble that towed the line between casual and semi-formal. Gomez spoke onstage during the 2024 Time 100 Summit at Jazz at Lincoln Center about various different elements of her life and career. The actress coordinated the footwear with a coat by Ducie. She was styled by longtime collaborator Erin Walhs for her outing.
Gomez has been seen recently wearing a number of elevated shoes that feature a sharp heel as its signature standout. Earlier this month, the actress participated in the Barbiecore trend by wearing a set of pink Versace Gianni Ribbon Pumps in NYC.

The shoes were characterized by a powder pink design, a signature Medusa bow on the vamp, a pointed-toe and a 4.3-inch stiletto heel. In January, the star attended the 2024 Golden Globes ceremony in a pair of satin red Christian Louboutin pumps that featured a pointed-toe silhouette, complete with scalloped slingback straps.

Gomez kept it minimalistic while out and about in New York City on Wednesday, pairing her stylish outfit with black mule sandals from Black Suede Studio. The shoes were made with glossy patent leather material and featured an open-toe model stylized by a pointed-toe design. Given Gomez’s love of stiletto heels, the shoes featured a thin stiletto heel with a measurement between 3.5 and 4 inches. While Gomez opted for the black iteration of the shoe, there are other colors available such as bronze metallic leather and silver mirror metallic. The asking price is $298.
