Scarlett Johansson attended the 2023 God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards held yesterday in New York.
Going opposite the flat trend, Johansson sported a pair of glossy black Kasia platform heels from Gianvito Rossi, proving the sky-high heels trend is still alive. The “Lucy” star’s shoes were crafted of high-shine patent leather and included triangular pointed toes that transitioned into thick and lofty platform soles and thin ankle straps threaded through gold buckle closures that secured her shoes in place.
Additionally, the sky-high set included 6-inch stilettos that further provided the thespian with a large boost. Platforms of all kinds are beloved by many top stars, Johansson included. Whether colorful or neutral, printed or patterned, platforms make for a great addition to any ensemble.
Matching her footwear, the “Asteroid City” actress was outfitted in a matt black gathered jersey dress from Michael Kors’ spring 2024 collection. The garment was long-sleeved and form-fitted featuring a gathered twisted bodice that offered her look further interest.
On the footwear front, Johansson tends to lean towards pointed-toe pumps and embellished heels. Though her appearances during high-profile events have been rare in the past year, her feminine style has gained a sleeker edge and amplified glamour from sandals, platforms and artsy heels. The “Avengers” star recently stepped out in Gianvito Rossi’s Rania pumps featuring clusters of Swarovski crystals. The footwear includes mesh suede inserts set on a 4-inch stiletto heel.
The 2023 God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards was held on Oct. 16 at The Glasshouse in New York.
