Saweetie made an appearance at the YouTube Music Leaders and Legends gala at Nya Studios on June 27 in Los Angeles, dressed in an all-black strappy ensemble by Mônot.
The “My Type” rapper walked the red carpet of the star-studded event in daring black dress by Mônot. The dress, characterized by strategic cutouts along the bodice, was held together by thin strings leading to a halter neckline. Crafted for a snug silhouette, the dress featured a thigh-high slit that provided a display for the rapper’s coordinating strappy black sandals.
The strappy sandals featured a band across the front of the foot, which anchored two thin straps with gold aglets that wrapped around the ankle. The shoes were finalized with a slender heel, approximately 2 to 3 inches tall, giving the rapper a subtle boost in height. She finished off the look with a bedazzled pedicure in a contrasting white.
Saweetie has been a fan of the strappy sandal look for some time, tending to favor the look during the warmer summer months. On June 20, she performed at The Abbey in West Hollywood in a pair of platform stiletto sandals from Rene Caovilla. She attended the Mercedes Benz G-Class Electrifies premiere in Los Angeles on April 23 sporting barely-there silver sandals paired with a lace-trimmed dress. Back in March, the Grammy-nominated performer stepped out in another monochromatic look, this one a red silk halter minidress paired with sparkling strappy sandals with crisscross straps and a thin stiletto heel.
