Rapper Saweetie is still keeping it icy. The performer hit up West Hollywood staple gay bar The Abbey, recently under new management, for a performance on Thursday night.
There, she partied alongside the likes of Cher, Law Roach, Michaela Jae Rodriguez and many more. At one point, Saweetie took to the stage to perform her song “My Type.”
The event was a relaunch of The Abbey. The spot, along with its sister location The Chapel at The Abbey, is now owned by entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft, who also owns the tech company Mistr.
To make the appearance, Saweetie seemed to channel her breakout hit “Icy Girl.” She wore a shimmering orange and pink, sunset-inspired ombre dress from Self-Portrait. The midi-cut design features an off-the-shoulder silhouette as well as rhinestones throughout.
She kept up the glitzy appeal all the way through to her shoes. The star singer wore a pair of platform stiletto sandals from Rene Caovilla, one of the oldest luxury shoe brands.

The shoes feature an asymmetrical design with two straps starting from the ball on one foot and then separating as they traverse across. Most notably, the shoe also features a crystalized strap that wraps around the back of the nearly five-inch stiletto heel and up the leg. The design, named the Margot, is inspired by snakes and retails from $1,590.
Saweetie’s version of the Margot appears to be customized. Though all of the styles feature a logo in the bottom of the in-step, Saweetie’s pair seems to be studded with additional crystals on that portion.
Unsurprisingly, the performer is a fan of shiny footwear. In April, she wore a pair of metallic sandals to a Mercedes-Benz G-Class premiere. She’s similarly a fan of other feminine options, like a light pink pointed-toe lace-up boot she wore earlier this month.
