Saweetie gave a new meaning to undercover dressing during New York Fashion Week.
At Dion Lee‘s spring 2024 fashion show on Saturday night, the “Icy Girl” rapper arrived in a set of slick black boots. Her patent leather style included over-the-knee shafts with a faintly boxy fit, which streamlined into pointed toes with a stiletto-heeled base. The set’s allover glossy sheen finished the footwear with added sultry flair.
Saweetie’s sleek boots added a sharp edge to her outfit for the occasion, as well, which featured high-waisted blue denim shorts accented by distressed thighs and frayed hems. The summer-worthy bottoms were paired with a light gray leather jacket, trimmed with gleaming silver zippers and quilted shearling panels for a fall-ready edge. Saweetie notably opted to zip the high-necked outwear over the lower half of her face for the occasion, creating a whimsical statement while remaining undercover at the show.
The “Best Friend” musician finished her outfit with a pair of large black Prada sunglasses, adding to her ensemble’s mystique. The full look was also seen while Saweetie sat in Lee’s star-studded front row, surrounded by peers including Tinashe, Lourdes Leon and Avril Lavigne.
NYFW is held in New York City in September, marking the start of Fashion Month. The spring 2024 season will see a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of designers, including Ralph Lauren, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler and more. The occasion will also include numerous parties and activations from brands like Aldo, J.Crew, MCM and more.
