Sarah Snook showed support for her “Succession” co-star Kieran Culkin’s Broadway run — just as he recently did for her — by attending the opening night of “Glengarry Glen Ross” on Monday in New York, where she wore an elegant black dress with jewel-embellished pumps from Manolo Blahnik.
Snook currently stars in a Broadway show herself at the moment, “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” which Culkin drove by on her opening night in a surprise moment to show love to his former onscreen sibling. On a night off from her stage gig, she returned the favor wearing a simple black V-neck dress with elbow-length sleeves featuring lacy edges. A satin strip of fabric at the waist accentuated the sophistication of her look.
Snook’s shoes were certainly a noticeable aspect of her ensemble. She donned a pair of black satin pointed-toe Asa pumps from Manolo Blahnik that delivered a glamorous flair with a jewel-embellished buckle on the vamp. Also available in a Cream option, the shoes retail for $1,345.
The website for the luxury brand explains the story behind the footwear: “Manolo found inspiration in traditional Spanish costumes for Winter ’24. The reflective embroidery of the ‘traje de luces’ is translated into elaborate jewelled buckles, to recall the extravagance of the traditional ensembles.”
Additional attendees at the “Glengarry Glen Ross” premiere held at the Palace Theatre included Darren Criss, Cynthia Nixon, Adam Scott, Tony Goldwyn and Katie Holmes, among other stars. Alongside Culkin, Bob Odenkirk and Bill Burr round out the top billing for the play written by David Mamet.
