Sarah Jessica Parker Steps Out in Fitted Blue Dress and Reflective Heels While Filming ‘And Just Like That’ in NYC

Sarah Jessica Parker has been spotted filming on location for Season Three of “And Just Like That,” the Max continuation of the hit HBO series “Sex and the City.”
Parker, almost synonymous with the fashionable sex columnist she’s portrayed for over two decades, was spotted in character for a night shoot, wearing a fitted sky blue dress and metallic silver heels that reflected an oil slick color under the light. The dress featured a scoop neck, pointed shoulder pads, and long sleeves, with a tight skirt that loosened just below her knees to create a flowing effect as she walked. The bright material was detailed with tiny beads that caught the light.

While Carrie Bradshaw’s relationships might not have been consistent over the course of six seasons, two feature films and a Max original series, there is one thing the proud New Yorker remains unwaveringly dedicated to: shoes. While walking the streets of the city on set with director Michael Patrick King and the rest of the “AJLT” crew, Parker kept her balance in a pair of colorful reflective stilettos that blended hues of gold, green and pink. Complete with cutouts on the sides, the shoes make perfect sense for Carrie, who is known for her vibrant and whimsical style.

The original “Sex and the City,” which aired from 1998-2004, is experiencing a surge in ratings since the series hit Netflix in April. The show is reaching new generations of viewers as younger audiences connect to the material over 20 years after its initial release — which could perhaps serve as a ratings boost for the next season of “And Just Like That.”
With Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago helming the costume design for “And Just Like That,” the reboot has only elevated and dramatized Carrie and her friends’ unique styles. Parker was recently seen on set wearing Aquazzura patterned slingback sandals with a sheer Simone Rocha dress.
Earlier this month at the Met Gala — as herself — Parker wore patent stilettos with sheer intricately detailed tights to go with her Richard Quinn dress and fascinator.
Season Three of “And Just Like That” is expected to be released in 2025.
