Sarah Jessica Parker Brings All the Drama in Glossy Purple Pumps While Filming ‘And Just Like That’ in New York

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted on the set of “And Just Like That” today in New York. The show is currently filming its third season. Since filming began on May 10, 2024, the cast has been spotted all over NYC wearing the wardrobe and shoes “Sex and the City” fans have come to expect from the franchise.
The “Sex and the City” star took to the streets of the Big Apple in a pair of bright purple pumps. The footwear choice featured ultra-glossy purple uppers that mimicked the look of vinyl. Triangular toes gave way to short and thin 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels.
A majority of the shoe was hidden beneath the lengthy hem of Parker’s trousers, eclipsing the style. Parker’s pick can be likened to Jimmy Choo’s Saeda pump made of Viola leather. Both pumps are comparable in color and shape, but the Saeda style includes crystalized ankle straps that offer a glamorous touch.

Perfectly matching her footwear, the “Hocus Pocus” actress donned a bright purple suiting moment. Ultra-chic as always, Parker’s look was comprised of a blazer and tailored trousers. Slung over her shoulder, the thespian toted a leather bag featuring a colorful graffitied print.
The color purple has been having a moment on the set of the spinoff series. Parker filmed “And Just Like That” in the West Village on Sept. 5 in vintage slingbacks hailing from Aquazzura. The So Nude silhouette featured purple leather uppers, along with minimalist thin but sturdy straps and pointed open toes. Parker’s depiction of Carrie Bradshaw often includes slingback Y2K-inspired styles most famously from Manolo Blahnik.
Her costars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis were also spotted wearing different pairs of purple heels on set leaving fans wondering if that will be part of the storyline in the upcoming season.
“And Just Like That” is a spin-off of Max’s hit franchise “Sex and the City.” Released in 2021, “And Just Like That” features a nearly identical cast to the show’s original main players including Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the ever-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon, who depicts Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis, who depicts Charlotte York. New additions to the show include Sara Ramirez’s polarizing portrayal of Che Diaz and Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley.
