Sarah Jessica Parker, known shoe fanatic, is teaching us how to style high heels for fall.
Parker, in character as the beloved Carrie Bradshaw, was seen filming “And Just Like That” in Queens, New York on Oct. 2 wearing a cozy autumnal ensemble including tights and ballet pink pumps.
Parker looked stylish as ever as she showed off the art of layering and color coordinating. In the two and a half decades of her character’s existence, Bradshaw has never been afraid of bright hues and bold patterns — for this slightly chilly day in the city, she was dressed in a flowing plaid midi skirt (or dress) patterned with primary colors and a complementary turquoise knit sweater.
Underneath her skirt she wore bright blue tights to match her sweater, perfectly tying the look together. The sweater featured balloon sleeves with glamorous gem-adorned cuffs. Parker also carried a colorful tote bag, which helped to establish NYC-chic aura.
Given Bradshaw’s deep affinity for shoes, Parker’s footwear game, unsurprisingly, did not disappoint. She appeared to be wearing a pair of bow-adorned pumps, reminiscent of previous designs by Gianvito Rossi and Christian Louboutin, which picked up the beige hues in her skirt. The shoes featured a low-cut vamp with a pointed outline in front aligning with the sharp triangular toe. A bow tied with thick fabric adorned the front of each shoe, positioned toward its outermost side. The shoes also featured a tall and slender heel which contributed to its sharp but dainty aesthetic.
Also on the set of “And Just Like That,” Parker has worn shiny purple pumps, crystal-embellished sandals, black kitten heels with a pearl strap and a wide array of other shoes.
Parker isn’t just a fan of shoes on screen — she launched the SJP Collection with the late George Malkemus in 2014, though it was recently announced that the line would shut down after a decade in business. However, with Season 3 of “And Just Like That” set to debut on Max in 2025, she will undoubtedly continue to make her mark in the shoe industry as the style icon Carrie Bradshaw.
