Sabrina Elba Wore Semi Sheer Brown Dress and Glossy Pointed Toe Saint Laurent Vendome Boots to Vanity Fair BAFTA Party
Sabrina Elba is supporting British talent. The entrepreneur and wife of Idris Elba attended Vanity Fair’s BAFTA 2025 Rising Star party on Wednesday night in London. For the event she chose a brown Saint Laurent long sleeved dress. The semi-sheer number featured ruffles and a deep v neckline.
For shoes, Elba chose a pair of Saint Laurent Vendome boots. The high gloss styles are brown and made of patent leather — the company calls it glazed leather. They feature a dangerously sharp toe. The stiletto heel is similarly sharp and extremely narrow. It measure just over four inches.IThough it is not visible under the dress, the boot sports a small gold buckle on the tall tubular neck.
Saint Laurent does not appear to sell the knee-high boot from its site any longer. But other retailers including Neiman Marcus as well as Saks Fifth Avenue both have the boots. The style is $1,950. The closest glazed leather boot that Saint Laurent does offer on its site is the Lee boot which has a different buckle and a shorter stiletto.

Jennifer Lopez has been a noted fan of the Saint Laurent Vendome boot, wearing it multiple times. She wore it back in May 2024 while she was in New York City ahead of the Met Gala. She was on the host committee of the lauded event for 2024. She put the boots back on in November when she was back in New York City.
