Sabrina Elba Elevates Monochromatic Dressing With Pointy Louboutins for FTA Dinner

Sabrina Elba showed off a sleek, effortlessly elegant look while out in London Monday night.
Attending the Fashion Trust Arabia dinner at Claridge’s Hotel, the Canadian model showcased a beige pantsuit paired with a coordinating button-down shirt and bra top that showed some skin underneath.
On foot, Elba wore Christian Louboutin Hot Chick slingback pumps ($845) from the iconic brand’s popular “Nudes” collection. The understated pointed style she selected was crafted with a smooth leather upper and notched ankle straps, the Hot Chick’s signature design. The skincare brand founder completed her monochromatic ensemble with Bulgari jewelry and Bottega Veneta’s black woven leather Tosca bag.
Louboutin’s Nudes collection launched in 2013 with four styles and five shades. The lineup included the fashion house’s staple Pigalle Follies 100 pump and Senora 100 T-strap pump. More styles would later be added, including ballet flats, block-heel platform sandals and stilettos featuring a grosgrain ribbon that wraps around the ankle. The collection now offers a wide range of silhouettes and eight shades.

“Since its conception in 2013, the Nudes collection has embodied the ever-present idea of diversity in Christian Louboutin’s designs,” the brand said in 2020. “The collection, which originally launched with five shades, has steadily evolved to become an ode to inclusivity, a core part of Louboutin’s values. By imagining a shoe that is truly flesh-colored for all skin tones, the designer was one of the first to create a range of nude styles that become a seamless extension of the leg.”
In the past, Elba has shown love for timeless silhouettes with pointed toes, strappy sandals and knee-high boots from brands like Victoria Beckham, Amina Muaddi and more.
