Sabrina Carpenter Reaches New Heights in Burgundy Louis Vuitton Platform Heels on the Met Gala 2025 Red Carpet

Sabrina Carpenter served looks while at the 2025 Met Gala held tonight in New York. Tonight’s theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
The “Please Please Please” songstress wore a pair of burgundy platforms, combating her height. It’s likely her footwear is custom from Louis Vuitton. A mainstay in Carpenter’s wardrobe, her platforms for tonight featured glossy leather uppers accompanied by black leather trim that tied in a bow at the back. The detail offered her footwear offered a dainty quality when viewed up close.
Pointed toes gave way to lofty platform soles and block heels standing at an estimated 4 to 5 inches in height. Platforms are exceedingly important to many short celebrities. They give the illusion of height and length, creating drama. Ariana Grande is another singer who tends to don platform styles to give her looks an extra boost.

The “Girl Meets World” star also wore a custom Louis Vuitton look in burgundy. Carpenter worked with Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams to create her look tonight. The performer’s ensemble consisted of a suiting-inspired bodysuit paired with a cropped blazer with coat tails that trailed behind the star as she walked. Both her bodysuit and coat were pinstriped.
The 2025 Met Gala is being held tonight in New York. The theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” celebrates all things African American styles and culture. This year’s co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams, along with Vogue’s Editor In Chief Anna Wintour. The gala gathers top stars from all walks of life, celebrating the arts and fashion for one night each year on the first Monday in May.
Carpenter’s shoe rotation tends to be sleek and whimsical. The “Almost Love” singer frequently wears platform pumps, sandals and boots with towering heels from brands including Valentino, Stuart Weitzman, and Naked Wolfe.
