Rita Ora made a dynamic arrival on the red carpet for this year’s amfAR Gala Venezia.
While in Venice, Italy for the Sunday night occasion during the 2023 Venice Film Festival, Ora — who is one of the event’s featured musical performers, alongside Leona Lewis — hit the red carpet in a set of sleek black sandals. The “Let You Love Me” singer’s style featured an ankle-strapped silhouette, set atop thick platform soles for a sharp height boost.
Ora’s shoes also earned added height from their towering heels — which appeared to total anywhere from 5 to 6 inches in height. Though the pair’s shape couldn’t be seen, they likely featured a stiletto or block shape, similar to the numerous pairs Ora has previously worn to formal occasions over the years.
The set also brought a burst of elevation to the musician’s outfit: a sheer black dress in a caped silhouette, which featured a floor-length hem that flowed into a dramatic, lengthy train. The dynamic piece included a flared white silk accent on its bodice, shaped like a large, abstract flower for added drama. For fuller coverage, it was also layered over a matte nude sleeveless bodysuit, cinched by a crystal-covered belt for a sprinkle of glamour.

Ora’s attire for the gala was complete with a sparkling collar necklace, which featured several thin tiers that swirled as if wrapping around her neck. The diamond-coated piece was complemented with equally sparkly diamond cocktail rings for a glittering finish.
The Venice Film Festival will feature international movies and cinematic shorts debuting for the new season. The 80th annual event is also taking place during the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has current interim agreements to allow U.S. actors to appear at the occasion. Aside from numerous premieres — including “Maestro,” “Priscilla” and “Ferrari” — the week will conclude with its starry amFar Gala, featuring performances by Leona Lewis and Rita Ora.
