Rihanna stayed comfortable on a walk in New York City on July 16, stepping out in a pair of Puma Liga OG Retro sneakers and a casual summertime ensemble.
For a jaunt in the city, Rihanna put together a few loungewear staples. She wore a fitted white scoop-neck tank top with black drawstring shorts that reached her thighs. The “Love on the Brain” singer added a layer to the outfit with a long dark cardigan that fell past her knees. The musician and entrepreneur added extra personality to the ensemble with a Yankees hat, which she wore backward and sunglasses.
Rihanna chose to rep Puma, a company with whom she has an ongoing collaboration, while out and about on Tuesday. Her low-top white sneakers featured the classic Puma branding, a curved swath standing out against the side of the shoe. The contrasting dark and light fabric complemented the colors of her outfit, establishing a coordinated look. The lace-up sneakers also featured a beige sole, adding a third neutral hue to the colorway. One of Puma’s shoes resembling Rihanna’s include the Palermo Leather Women’s Sneakers in White-Vapor Gray-Gum, which retail for $90.

Rihanna’s relationship with Puma began in 2014. She was appointed global brand ambassador and creative director in addition to launching her own line with the brand. A decade later, Fenty x Puma’s most recent release is the Creeper Phatty by Rihanna, a platform lace-up sneaker featuring corduroy and suede fabric and a creeper sole. The latest campaign for the shoe, called “In Session,” features Rihanna, Angelica Huston and Chloe Cherry modeling the different colorways.
In another casual NYC outing in May, Rihanna slipped into a pair of knit sock shoes from Bottega Veneta. In June, she wore pointy red pumps to launch her new Fenty Hair line.
