Reba McEntire showed off her country fashion sense at a Los Angeles event on Oct. 9 called NBC Celebrates Fall Comedy, where the artist wore a sequined blazer with patterned cowboy boots.
McEntire, whose new comedy “Happy’s Place” premieres next week, looked festive in tight black pants and a black blazer covered entirely in glinting sequins. The jacket was fastened with a button beneath the lapels while pocket flaps added dimension to the garment.
The “Reba” star honored her Oklahoma roots with a western-inspired footwear choice. For this occasion in Studio City, the multi-hyphenate donned black leather cowboy boots with a glittering beige flame-like design decorating the shaft, which rose to roughly the knee area. In classic cowboy boot fashion, the shoes featured a pointed toe and a low block heel with an inward slope.

McEntire’s boots resembled Boot Star‘s $595 shoe known as Lauren Western in Distressed Black, which is currently sold out from the brand. Boot Star describes the additional design toward the front of the shoe as a “traditional western toe medallion.”
The country icon is an avowed boot lover, having shown off her custom boot closet in 2018, which at the time featured 85 boots. McEntire is familiar with the shoe industry — she collaborated with Justin Boots on a signature footwear line which was announced in 2017.
Around the time of the collection’s launch, she described her personal style in an interview: “I like [clothes] to look good, so when people see me, they say, ‘Boy, she looks good.’ It’s not that, ‘Wow, those boots stand out or those jeans stand out, or those are some big earrings.’ I like it to be a good look that’s complementary and not distracting in any way.”
McEntire is currently involved with multiple NBC ventures. She is not only a judge on the singing competition series “The Voice,” but also stars in and executive produces the network’s upcoming multi-camera sitcom “Happy’s Place.”
Set to premiere on Oct. 18, McEntire takes on the role of Bobbie, who inherits her father’s restaurant and must run the establishment with her half-sister who she previously didn’t know existed (Melissa Peterman).
