Queen Letizia Supports Spain at 2024 Paris Olympics in Patriotic Joma Sport Sneakers

Queen Letizia of Spain is showing up for her country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The journalist and wife of King Felipe VI repped Spain in an outfit from Spanish athletic brand Joma Sport, including white sneakers emblazoned with “ESPAÑA” across the sole.
Queen Letizia was seen at the Spain vs. Greece women’s water polo match on July 31 wearing a sporty white ensemble consisting of bootcut jeans and Joma Sport’s polo designed specifically for the Olympics. The $52 shirt features red trim along the collar and sleeves, and the brand’s “J” logo is on one side of the shirt while the Spanish flag and Olympics logo are in the other corner. There is also a red version of the special polo, which Queen Letizia wore the following day, on Aug. 1.

Queen Letizia’s shoes were low-top sneakers in a white and beige colorway with accents of vibrant color representing Spain. The side of the lace-up shoe features a “J” mimicking the red and yellow color-blocking pattern of the country’s flag. Additionally, “ESPAÑA” is splashed across the sole in a large, jaunty font matching the beige accents on the heel and toe of the shoe. Created as part of the brand’s Spanish Olympic Committee line, the unisex shoe is available for $60.
Per Joma, the brand is dressing 15% of athletes at the 2024 Olympics and provided equipment to a number of Olympic committees, national federations and individual sponsorships. Some of their athletes at the Olympics this year include Spanish handball player Miguel Sànchez Migallon, Italian volleyball player Carlotta Cambi and Polish tennis player Magda Linette. The Olympics isn’t the first international competition Joma has been spotted at — shoes by the brand have also been worn at the French Open, for example.
Queen Letizia attended the Olympics following a number of other engagements this summer. The royal recently wore a silver dress with metallic silver block heel sandals to attend the Atlantida Mallorca Film Festival; for another recent occasion, she wore gold-hued gladiator-style flats to host guests at the Marivent Palace.
