Queen Camilla wore classic, sensible heels for an appearance with King Charles III at the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre on April 30 in London.
Kim Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the University College Hospital to raise awareness of the importance of early cancer diagnosis and to highlight innovative research. Charles was recently named patron of Cancer Research UK, following his mother who held the role until her death. Charles announced earlier this year he had been diagnosed with cancer.
Camilla often wears low, often leather, pumps. Last year, she wore a pair from Chanel, featuring a cap-toe, for a reception at Buckingham Palace. She also wore a pair of light brown pumps from Sole Bliss to the Paris Flower Market last year.
Camilla’s shoe was a classic pump. Only a few inches in height, the shoe featured a heel that was thinner than a block heel and thicker than a stiletto. The shoe was also made of dark brown leather, with no visible seams.
The vamp of the shoe featured a pointed silhouette.
Camilla is often seen wearing pumps with thicker heels in a variety of neutral colors. Sole Bliss and Chanel are some of her favorite brands when it comes to pumps and she’s not afraid to re-wear her favorite styles. In 2023 she wore and re-wore a pair of tan Sole Bliss pumps with a block heel to events. She owns at least 11 pairs of shoes from the company.
In the colder months, Camilla often opts for boots. Recently, she’s been wearing a pair of black suede knee-high boots from Russell & Bromley. She’s worn them for Easter service at Windsor Castle as well as on trips to Belfast and more.
