Queen Camilla wore one of her go-to shoe silhouettes while hosting a reception at Buckingham Palace. The occasion was held to recognize those involved across fields including the United Kingdom’s government, church and media when planning Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and King Charles III’s coronation.
During the occasion on Thursday, Camilla stepped out to meet guests in a pair of cap-toed pumps by Chanel. The royal’s style — similarly to many formal shoes she’s worn over the years — featured a round-toed silhouette, complete with short block heels totaling at least 2 inches in height.
However, Camilla’s footwear included toe paneling in black satin, creating a two-toned finish. The style, a signature of Chanel’s over the decades, was complete with the French luxury brand’s gold “CC” logo on the edge of each heel.

Camilla’s Chanel footwear offered a neutral base for her equally neutral outfit at the event: a white button-up dress with scalloped trim, a curved collar and long sleeves. The midi-length piece was accessorized with a sparkling diamond brooch, as well as pearl drop earrings. The queen also paired her ensemble with her personal layered bracelets, including a gold-beaded string style and a Van Cleef & Arpels station bracelet strung with the label’s signature clover charms.
When it comes to shoes, Queen Camilla has frequently worn Sole Bliss and Chanel’s block-heeled pumps in a range of neutral, navy and pink tones over the years for formal occasions. In winter months, these are occasionally swapped for knee-high suede or riding boots; all are often worn with single-toned outfits, similar to her predecessor, Queen Elizabeth II. Camilla’s style is also punctuated by her extensive handbag collection, which primarily features clutches and top-handle bags by Chanel, Fendi and Demellier London.
