Paris Jackson is the latest to extend the ongoing sheer trend. The musician was out and about in Los Angeles on Sunday night and hit the 82nd Golden Globe Awards After Party. For the fete, which was thrown by Jas Mathur and Michael Braun, Jackson went for her almost trademark dark rocker style, though still glamorous. She chose a look from Hedi Slimane’s Celine featuring a mini dress in silk georgette that was partially sheer as well as sheer nylon tights. The tights featured the triomphe monogram.

For shoes, Jackson wore Celine’s sharp pump in black patent calfskin. That pump sports a stiletto heel and a notably sharp, pointed toe. It’s a part of an overall Sharp series at Celine which includes slingbacks and sandals, designed by Slimane. The Sharp line was the first designed by Slimane who started at the brand In 2018 and underscores his signature rock look. He departed the French label last year, to be replaced by Michael Raider.

While it is similar to the classic stiletto pump that many brands, the Celine Sharp heel’s toe is molded in a way that provides subtle points of differentiation than others. Celine does not currently sell the Sharp pump on its site.

The stiletto pump, particularly in black, is one of the most versatile heels in a woman’s closet. It can go from day to night, worn in the office, with glamorous evening wear and with jeans. The modern day stiletto is thought to be the product of designers like Roger Vivier.

Paris Jackson’s style can range from boho chic to rocker glam. In terms of shoes this means she can be spotted in designs like the pointed-toe Sharp heel form Celine as well as chunky platform ankle boots and glamorous sandals.
