Paris Hilton turned to two of her favorite designers when getting dressed for a serious appearance on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, June 27.
The Hilton Hotels heiress — who rose to fame in the early 2000s starring on the hit reality show “The Simple Life” — was in town to testify before a House committee advocating for stronger child welfare protections for foster youth. She wore a blue lace dress featuring a floral pattern throughout paired with strappy, ivory patent leather stilettos.
Hilton opted for a style she’s worn on numerous occasions, Valentino’s Rockstud caged pumps. The pointed silhouette boasts a contrasting leather trim in “powder pink” adorned with gold-tone stud detailing. The shoes are set on a slender stiletto heel measuring nearly 4 inches tall and are complete with a side buckle fastening.
Valentino‘s Rockstud embellishment is one of the Maison’s signature elements. The TV personality has been wearing styles from the brand’s Rockstud shoe collection for years. The caged style, in particular, is offered in a variety of colorways and materials, with prices ranging from $1,190 to $1,350.

As for her dress, she donned a look by another one of her go-to labels, Self-Portrait. The romantic lace midi dress offered a fitted silhouette and was designed with a white collar, buttons down the front and pockets at the waist. She tied her elegant ensemble together with a white Chanel bag.
In her testimony before the Ways and Means Committee, Hilton urged lawmakers to implement changes to child welfare programs, citing her own negative experience during her time spent at youth residential treatment facilities as a teen.
