Paris Hilton Was Shining in Shimmering Silver Slingback Shoes for MTV 2024 VMA Red Carpet

Paris Hilton went monochromatic tonight.
The performer appeared on the black carpet for MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards in all silver. The singer, who is currently promoting her album “Infinite Icon,” posed for photos and was one of the night’s presenters in a seemingly tattered and ripped knee length dress as well as crystallized, pointed-toe shoes.
Styled by Sammy K, Hilton opted from a custom dress from the Athenian couture house Celia Kritharioti. The dress features a chainmail-esque fabric that features rips as cutouts throughout the body, and is draped. It was matched with a crystalized clutch and a large, ornate choker full of large crystals. HIlton wore he hair in a messy, wet style.
On her feet, the singer slipped into a pair of stilettos. Selected to match the look, the shoes were also adorned in shimmering crystals. The silhouette features a pointed-toe box as well as a slingback design.

The shoes are from Dolce & Gabbana’s collaboration with Kim Kardashian. Introduced in 2023, the shoe is the brand’s Lollo slingback pump featuring a 4-inch stiletto. The shoe is still available online for $1,205. This certainly isn’t the first time it’s been worn to a celebrity event: Fran Drescher wore it to the White House Correspondents Dinner earlier this year.
Slingbacks are a major trend this year at a variety of heights. While many, like Rosalia, are wearing them as kitten heels, others are wearing them much taller, to four-inch heights. Brands like Roger Vivier, Saint Laurent, Gucci and Chanel have put celebrities in everything from platform slingback styles to stilettos and a variety of block heels.
Hilton is a major fan of embellishments when it comes to footwear. On stage, she’s been prone to wear Stuart Weitzman boots covered in crystals as she did at Alice + Olivia’s Pride party. She also opted for studs at a US House Committee hearing and bows on Balenciaga pumps for a Nylon Magazine event during New York Fashion Week.
